You never know where your path may lead. There are surprises around every corner - things you didn't plan for and certainly didn't foresee. Joys and successes, as well as, disappointments and unbidden hardship or tragedy mark your journey.

I am the author of travel blogs - Chuckwagon Adventure and Wild West Adventure. My days as a wanderer are behind me. I've been a widow for the past three years. Settled in North Carolina near my daughter and grown grandkids is where I am soaking up the moments with family.

I live in a stone cottage with a Westie named Tessa.
